NOVELTY - The air purifying device comprises photocatalytic device (10) including photocatalytic material layer (12) formed on outer surface of base material (11); UV light source (30) for irradiating UV light towards photocatalytic material layer; rotation mechanism (20), where one of photocatalytic device and UV light source is connected with the rotation mechanism; and control unit connected with the rotation mechanism, and controlling the rotation mechanism to rotate the photocatalytic device or to rotate the UV light source around the photocatalytic device. USE - The air purifying device is used for refrigerator (claimed). ADVANTAGE - By rotating the UV light source or the photocatalytic device, by rotating the UV light source, the light receiving surface of the photocatalytic material layer is increased. Thus, the utilization efficiency of the photosynthetic material is increased, and the photocatalyst is prevented from falling off. The air purifying device is provided with a simple structure, and is easy to use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a control method of the air purifying device.
