NOVELTY - Preparing titanium dioxide graphene composite material comprises e.g. (i) mixing graphene oxide by conventional Hummers method, and then centrifugating, taking supernatant, stirring to obtain graphene solution, (ii) diluting part of graphene solution in water, adding sodium borohydride powder, (iii) adding butyl titanate into mixed solution of ethanol and cyclohexane, adding hydrochloride solution, dissolving dried titanium dioxide powder in water, and (iv) placing graphene solution in weighing flask, performing ultrasonic treatment of titanium dioxide aqueous dispersion. USE - The method is useful for preparing titanium dioxide graphene composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, has low reaction temperature and short reaction time, and composite material has good hydrogen production effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing titanium dioxide graphene composite material comprises (i) mixing graphene oxide by conventional Hummers method, and then centrifugating, taking supernatant, stirring, dialyzing for two days, changing water for every two hours to obtain graphene solution having concentration of 6 g/l, (ii) diluting part of graphene solution in equal volume of water to 3 g/l, adding sodium borohydride powder, stirring for 24 hours, mixing graphene oxide and sodium borohydride in a mass ratio of 1:2, stirring dialyzing for two days, changing water for every two hours to obtain graphene solution having concentration of 1.5 g/l, (iii) adding butyl titanate into mixed solution of ethanol and cyclohexane in volume ratio of 1:1 under stirring for five minutes, adding hydrochloride solution, and then stirring for 5 minutes, heating at 80 degrees C reflux for 10 hours, centrifugating, washing precipitate with deionized water and drying in oven to obtain titanium dioxide powder, dissolving dried titanium dioxide powder in water to form 20 g/l titanium dioxide aqueous dispersion, and (iv) placing 1.5 g/l graphene solution in weighing flask, performing ultrasonic treatment of 20 g/l titanium dioxide water dispersion at room temperature for 4 hours to obtain titanium dioxide graphene composite, where amount of graphene is 1-10% the amount of titanium dioxide.
