NOVELTY - Preparation of catalyst comprises adding 0.01-0.02 wt.% ruthenium salt in deionized water or ethanol solution to obtain solution A, uniformly dispersing 0.09-0.25 wt.% graphene oxide and/or carbon nanotube in solution A, stirring for 10-60 minutes to obtain solution B, adding aqueous chemical reducing agent solution, stirring to obtain turbid liquid C, centrifuging to remove supernatant, precipitating, adding water, uniformly mixing, centrifuging to remove supernatant and repeating multiple times until upper layer liquid is neutral. USE - Method for preparing catalyst used for production of cyclohexane (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has high dispersion, activity, selectivity and efficiency. The method has mild condition, and convenient operation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for production of cyclohexane using catalyst comprising preparing catalyst dispersed turbid liquid with concentration of 0.05-0.25 wt.%, putting into reaction kettle, purging hydrogen gas to remove air, heating reaction kettle to 90-150 degrees C, adding benzene, reacting while stirring at 2.0-6.0 MPa, sampling, standing and separating oil phase.
