NOVELTY - Aqueous zinc-bromine battery comprises a positive electrode for performing a redox reaction between zerovalent bromine and negative monovalent bromine, and a negative electrode used for the redox reaction between positive divalent zinc and zerovalent zinc, where the aqueous electrolyte is an aqueous solution containing zinc salt, bromine salt, composite agent and zinc dendrite inhibitor. USE - Aqueous zinc-bromine battery. ADVANTAGE - The aqueous zinc-bromine battery reduces the nucleation energy barrier of zinc and homogenizes the surface electric field, improves the reversibility of the reaction, avoids the formation of zinc dendrites, avoids contamination of the negative electrode, improves the stability of the battery, avoids the formation of negative electrode zinc dendrites, and improves the cycle stability of the battery.
