NOVELTY - A degradable polyolefin plastic comprises more than 90 wt.% polyolefin comprising polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or their derivative, and 10 wt.% or less degradation promoting agent comprising catalysts including a photocatalyst, a chemical catalyst or a biological catalyst. The photocatalyst contains tungsten oxide, titanium oxide, copper sulfide, graphite, graphene, carbon tube, gold and/or silver. The chemical catalyst comprises a compound of metal carboxyl and aliphatic polyhydroxycarboxylic acid, a compound of metal carboxyl and inorganic salt, and/or a complex of transition metal. The biological catalyst comprises chitin, starch, cellulose, glucose derivatives, polysaccharides, poly-β-hydroxybutyl, carbodiimide and/or ester. The degradable polyolefin plastic has elastic strength of more than 600 kg/cm2, impact strength of more than 38 kgcm/cm, and degradation rate of more than 90% within 180 days under the soil burial method ASTM D5988. USE - Degradable polyolefin plastic is used for preparing film sheet (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The degradable polyolefin plastic has excellent mechanical, physical and weather resistance for a longer shelf life time performance.
