NOVELTY - Preparation of porous carrier involves (a) mixing boron nitride and urea uniformly and ball milling to obtain solution (A), (b) adding solution (A) to carbon nanotubes or graphene solution, and ultrasonically dispersing to get solution (B), (c) filtering the solution (B) to obtain a gel, adding deionized water to the gel, and performing ultrasonic dispersion to obtain viscous hydrogel, (d) coating the adhesive hydrogels on the substrate, freezing and drying. USE - Preparation of porous carrier for lithium sulfur battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of porous carrier that can inhibit lithium dendritic crystal growth and polysulfide shuttle effect. The porous carrier has flame retardant property, which can prevent the battery from burning or even exploding due to thermal runaway.
