NOVELTY - The thermal power reactor (100) has a reactor core (102) that is arranged to generate thermal energy. A solid-state thermal conductor (106) is extending into and thermally integrated with the reactor core. The solid-state thermal conductor is arranged to transfer thermal energy generated by the reactor core away from the reactor core. The solid-state thermal conductor comprises an internal portion (108) extending into the thermal reactor core and an external portion (110) extending away from the reactor core. USE - Thermal power reactor for use in spacecraft. ADVANTAGE - By removing the need for moving units reduces the maintenance requirements of the thermal power reactor. The thermal power reactor helps to improve the reliability of the thermal power reactor. The copper prevents the graphene layers from contacting each other help and reduces the effect of the quantum mechanical properties.
