NOVELTY - Preparing gas diffusion layer material comprises uniformly mixing carbon material, high molecular polymer and solvent to obtain mixed slurry, introducing carbon fiber product in sizing agent to process dipping treatment, drying dipped carbon fiber product, carrying out heat treatment to dried carbon fiber product, and carrying out high temperature carbonization treatment to carbon fiber product after heat treatment to obtain gas diffusion layer material. USE - The method is useful for preparing gas diffusion layer material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing the gas diffusion layer material with better effect of uniformly distributing the pore of the gas diffusion layer material after heat treatment and high temperature carbonization, so as to ensure the performance of the fuel cell.
