NOVELTY - Preparing amino functionalized graphene oxide comprises (a) adding graphite powder, potassium persulfate and phosphorus pentoxide into the concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring uniformly, raising temperature and reacting, cooling to room temperature to continuously react to obtain the pre-oxidized graphite powder, (b) adding the pre-oxidized graphite powder into the oxidant, stirring and reacting to obtain the oxidized graphene, (c) dispersing the oxidized graphene in water-removing acetonitrile, adding thionyl chloride and N, N-dimethyl formamide, heating and reacting, adding 2-amino-4,6-dichloropyrimidine, continuously stirring after finishing reaction, adding acetamide to continuously react to obtain the oxidation of graphene amidation and (d) mixing the secondary amidated oxidation graphene methanol and sodium hydroxide, heating and reacting to obtain the amino functionalized oxide graphene. USE - The graphene oxide is useful in anti-corrosive paint (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide has good dispersion uniformity in the resin and more firm and tight resin, which prolongs the time for the corrosive medium to penetrate into the substrate to enhance the performance of the resin long-acting anti-corrosion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an amino functionalized graphene oxide, which is prepared by above method.
