NOVELTY - The electrode has an adhesive tape, graphite layer on the adhesive tape, and coating layer on graphite layer which is comprised with graphene, conductive polymer, metal, alloy, metal oxide, metal hydroxide and composites. The coating layer is comprised with polyaniline, polypyrrole, polythiophene and derivatives and copolymers as the conductive polymer. The coating layer is comprised with cobalt, nickel, copper, manganese, ruthenium, iridium, and zinc material as the metal. The coating layer is comprised with cobalt, nickel, copper, manganese, ruthenium, iridium and zinc-based oxide and hydroxide with different oxidation states as the metal oxides and hydroxides. USE - Flexible electrode for use in e.g. energy storage device, biosensor, fuel cell, and electronic textile. ADVANTAGE - The electrode has high electrochemical performance (energy density and capacitance) and can be produced easily at a low cost. The electrode is light and flexible and suitable for large-scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for producing flexible electrode.
