NOVELTY - Polyacrylonitrile-coated graphene composite material comprises core-shell structure as basic unit, carbon material as inner core, and polyacrylonitrile as outer shell. The polyacrylonitrile layer is single layer and the carbon material is carbon material having graphite lattice structure. USE - The polyacrylonitrile-coated graphene composite material is useful in preparing carbon fiber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material: improves the performance of carbon fiber. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing polyacrylonitrile-coated graphene composite material comprising mixing acrylonitrile, carbon material having graphite lattice structure and molecular weight regulator in water, adjusting the temperature of the mixed system to 50-70 degrees C, dropping initiator to initiate polymerization, the dropping time of initiator is 30-60 minutes, keep heating for certain time until the end of reaction to obtain final product.
