NOVELTY - n-Butyl titanate is dispersed in acetic acid, to obtain solution (A). Graphene oxide is dispersed in ethanol, to obtain solution (B). The solution (B) is added to the solution (A) and stirred at room temperature, to obtain solution (C). The mixture is centrifuged, to obtain titania precursor-graphene oxide composite which is then washed using alcohol. The washed product is calcined, to obtain mixed-phase titania photocatalytic nanosheet. USE - Preparation of mixed-phase titania photocatalytic nanosheet used in photocatalytic hydrogen production. ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides mixed-phase titania photocatalytic nanosheet having high catalytic activity.
