NOVELTY - Preparation of carbon nanotube-graphene hybrid nanoparticles involves preparing graphene oxide according to Hummers method, dispersing carbon nanotubes uniformly, drying, placing resultant product in inert protective gas atmosphere, calcining, thermally reducing graphene oxide to graphene, adsorbing carbon nanotubes on the surface of graphene oxide layer due to the pi - pi interaction between carbon nanotubes and graphene oxide, unwinding carbon nanotubes, and avoiding accumulation of graphene sheets. USE - Preparation of carbon nanotube-graphene hybrid nanoparticles used for preparing silicone rubber composite material (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently provides carbon nanotube-graphene hybrid nanoparticles having improved electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) application of carbon nanotube-graphene hybrid nanoparticles in preparation of silicone rubber composites, which involves mixing carbon nanotube-graphene hybrid nanoparticles and silicone rubber matrix, uniformly dispersing carbon nanotubes and graphene in matrix, connecting carbon nanotubes and graphene sheets with each other to form conduction path, and obtaining silicone rubber composite with improved electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity; (2) silicone rubber composite material, which is obtained by mixing 100 pts. wt. methyl vinyl silicone rubber gum, 0.6-1 pt. wt. 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di-t-butylperoxyhexane, and 0.75-3 pts. wt. carbon nanotube-graphene hybrid nanoparticles, hot pressing and vulcanization molding; and (3) preparation of silicone rubber composite material.
