NOVELTY - Method involves preparing a slurry component material. The slurry component material is mixed and ball milled. An aluminum-plastic film bag is pre-weighed. The aluminum-plastic film bag is vacuumized. The sealed aluminum-plastic film bag is fixed at a bottom part of a container. The sealed aluminum-plastic film bag is completely immersed in a medium measuring liquid. Volume density of the lower aluminum-plastic film bag is recorded. The medium measuring liquid is water soluble in detergent. Content of the detergent is 1-3 g/l. USE - Method for accurately measuring gas production amount of a silicon cathode of a lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method can more accurately measure the gas generated by the cathode material, realizing material optimization and scheme optimization.
