NOVELTY - Graphene shell coating cobalt-MOF-74 material, which is obtained by preparing graphene Co-MOF-74 by a hydrothermal method, and activating to obtain a graphene shell-coated cobalt-MOF-74 material. The microscopic morphology of the obtained material is a rod-shaped bouquet with a rough surface. USE - The material is useful as sodium borohydride hydrolysis catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material: improves catalytic efficiency and stability; provides hexagonal honeycomb pore structure and coordination unsaturated metal center; has a three-dimensional structure to achieve a large specific surface area and improves electron transfer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the graphene outer shell material coated with cobalt-MOF-74 comprising (a) preparing the reaction liquid: adding the oxidized graphene into ethanol for ultrasonic, obtaining a certain concentration of the oxidized graphene solution, adding the hexahydrate cobalt chloride into the oxidized graphene solution to obtain solution A, adding water, ethanol and dimethyl formamide to obtain mixed solvent, adding 2,5 dihydroxy terephthalic acid adding into the mixed solvent to obtain solution B, stirring and mixing the solution A and solution B, obtaining reaction liquid, (b) preparing hydrothermal graphene outer shell cobalt-MOF-74 material: subjecting the obtained reaction liquid for hydro-thermal reaction under a certain condition, washing the obtained precipitate, drying to obtain the graphene outer shell cobalt-MOF-74 material and (c) activation of the graphene shell-coated cobalt-MOF-74 material: activating the graphene shell-coated cobalt-MOF-74 material under a certain condition and obtaining the graphene outer shell cobalt-MOF-74 material.
