NOVELTY - An iron-based alloy comprises 1.2-1.6 wt.% graphene composite material, 0.41-0.48 wt.% carbon, 0.4-0.8 wt.% silicon, 1-1.5 wt.% manganese, 4.5-5.8 wt.% chromium, 0.8-1.2 wt.% tungsten, 1.6-2 wt.% molybdenum, 0.02-0.04 wt.% titanium, 1.2-1.8 wt.% boron, 0.6-1 wt.% vanadium, 0.03-0.05 wt.% niobium, less than or equal to 0.03 wt.% phosphorus, less than or equal to 0.03 wt.% sulfur and balance amount of iron. USE - Iron-based alloy (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The iron-based alloy has improved toughness, wear resistance, hardness and weldability and prolonged service life.
