NOVELTY - Molybdenum nitride/nitrogen-doped carbon composite material, is claimed. The molybdenum nitride/nitrogen-doped carbon composite material has a porous sheet-like structure, and the specific surface area is 200-450 m2g-1. USE - The molybdenum nitride/nitrogen-doped carbon composite material is useful in the field of catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple and easy to control, economical, and is suitable for industrial mass production. The molybdenum nitride/nitrogen-doped carbon composite material: has small grain diameter, high purity, large specific surface area, and exhibits good catalytic activity similar to platinum. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for : (1) a method for preparing molybdenum nitride/nitrogen-doped carbon composite material comprising adding the molybdenum source into the graphene oxide solution to obtain the first mixed solution, adding the hydrazine hydrate into the first mixed solution, stirring, allowing to stand and aging to obtain the second mixed solution, freezing and drying the second mixed solution to obtain the precursor powder, calcining the precursor powder under the inert atmosphere to obtain the molybdenum nitride/nitrogen-doped carbon composite material; and (2) a catalyst comprising molybdenum nitride/nitrogen-doped carbon composite material.
