NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-reinforced thermosetting resin abrasion-resistant self-repairing coating comprises (i) polishing the metal substrate and ultrasonically cleaning to remove the abrasive dust and dirt on the surface of the metal substrate, and drying; (ii) preparing graphene powder; (iii) adding 1-10 pts. wt. graphene and 1-50 pts. wt. fluoropolymer into the organic solvent, and ultrasonically stirring uniformly to obtain the mixed solution; (iv) adding thermosetting resin and curing agent into the above mixed solution according to the mass ratio (1-10):1, stirring, homogenizing, coating on the metal substrate and curing. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-reinforced thermosetting resin abrasion-resistant self-repairing coating. ADVANTAGE - The coating system has high mechanical strength, repeatability in repair, can repair macro-scale damage, and has good application prospects, excellent wear resistance and self-repair performance. The method is simple.
