▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A composite membrane comprises a selective layer comprising a polymeric matrix comprising an amine polymer, a graphene oxide nanofiller, and a mobile carrier chosen from ionic liquid and amino acid salt, coated on a support. USE - Composite membrane is used for separating gas from gas mixture e.g. separating carbon dioxide from mixture containing carbon dioxide e.g. flue gas, biogas (e.g. biogas upgrading), natural gas (e.g. natural gas upgrading), or syngas, industrial and domestic gas streams. ADVANTAGE - The economical composite membrane has high modularity and easy scalability, high permeability and selectivity, and excellent chemical property and mechanical property, and significantly increases efficiency of separation processes. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) formation of the composite membrane, which involves (i) forming an aqueous solution comprising the polymeric matrix, graphene oxide nanofiller and mobile carrier, and (ii) casting the aqueous solution onto the support, such as hollow fiber support; and (2) separation of gas from gas mixture, which involves contacting the gas mixture with the membrane. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view explaining alignment of graphene oxide-based fillers in composite membranes fabricated using bar coating technique.
