NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene comprises reacting active metal with low-carbon halohydrocarbon or anhydrous ethanol to generate new carbon, reconstituting graphene, and purifying to obtain graphene with high quality, with molar ratio of active metal to carbon source at 0.5-6. USE - Method of preparation of graphene (claimed) used in photoelectric components comprising copper indium gallium selenide and cadmium telluride, and dye-sensitized solar batteries, panel displays, super capacitors, field emission materials and lithium ion batteries. ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation and low cost, and capable of obtaining graphene with good electric conductivity and high quality.
