NOVELTY - Preparing graphene aerogel fiber involves mixing graphene oxide with water to form a graphene oxide dispersion, mixing the alkaline reagent with the graphene oxide dispersion to obtain a graphene oxide mixture, and mixing the water-soluble alginate and the graphene oxide mixture to obtain a graphene oxide spinning solution. The graphene oxide spinning solution extruding into a coagulation bath to obtain graphene oxide wet fiber, reacting wet graphene oxide fibers with a reducing agent to obtain graphene aerogel wet fibers. The graphene aerogel wet fibers are frozen, thawed and dried to obtain graphene aerogel fibers. USE - Method for preparing graphene aerogel fiber used for preparing heat insulating material or a fireproof material (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene aerogel fiber has high tensile strength.
