NOVELTY - A composite comprises an ethylene modified polyvinyl alcohol (A) and a graphene (B). The compound (A) contains 2-20 mol.% ethylene unit. USE - Composite used as film for multilayer film (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to food packaging material, pharmaceutical packaging material, cosmetics packaging material, electronic component material, and battery material. ADVANTAGE - The composite has excellent water vapor barrier property, transparency and film physical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) multilayer film, which comprises a composite film and a substrate film; and (2) manufacture of multilayer film, which involves preparing a mixed solution of graphene and ethylene modified polyvinyl alcohol to obtain the composite, and coating the obtained composite on a substrate film.
