NOVELTY - The gas diffusion cathode (2) has a diffusion layer, a current collector base and a suspended catalytic layer which are arranged in sequence. The current collector base is foamed nickel, stainless steel mesh or carbon felt.The diffusion layer is made of carbon black and PTFE emulsion in proportion. The diffusion layer is coated on one side of the current collector substrate. The main portion of the suspended catalytic layer is a Plexiglass (RTM: Thermoplastic pellets) plate or PTFE plate that is close to the other side of the current collector substrate, and a flow channel is provided in the suspended catalytic layer. The suspension prepared from carbon materials is continuously pumped into the flow channel through a peristaltic pump. The suspension is obtained by uniformly stirring and mixing carbon black, graphene, or acetylene black and ultrapure water. USE - Gas diffusion cathode with suspended catalytic layer, used for electrochemical reactor (claimed) used for producing hydrogen peroxide. ADVANTAGE - The gas diffusion cathode uses a suspended catalytic layer, which is beneficial to accelerate the electron transfer rate of oxygen reduction and improve the efficiency of electrochemical production of hydrogen peroxide, the reactor uses solid state while introducing the gas diffusion cathode. Electrolyte layer is provided to ensure production of hydrogen peroxide in a safer and more efficient manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for electrochemical reactor.
