NOVELTY - Metal salt of sulfonated graphene solid polymer electrolyte comprises sulfonated graphene, metal compound and solid polymer electrolyte. USE - Metal salt of sulfonated graphene solid polymer electrolyte used in electrochemical/physical energy storage device, i.e. electrolytic capacitor, supercapacitor, hybrid supercapacitor, lithium ion battery, sodium ion battery, potassium ion battery, magnesium ion battery, calcium ion battery, aluminum ion battery, fuel cell and fuel-sensitized solar cell (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The metal salt of sulfonated graphene solid polymer electrolyte has 102 S/cm ionic conductivity and 5.4-6.2 V electrochemical window, and has good chemical and electrochemical compatibility. The method is simple and easy to implement and control, has mild reaction conditions and wide source of raw materials, and is suitable for large-scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of metal salt of sulfonated graphene solid polymer electrolyte comprising taking sulfonated graphene with 0.05-100 mu m radial dimension, 0.5-20 nm thickness and carbon and sulfur molar ratio of 12:1-3:1, dispersing in organic solvent to obtain 0.1500-500 g/L sulfonated graphene solution, adding metal compound in the presence of inert gas, stirring for 1-6 hours, adding solid polymer electrolyte, stirring at 40-85 degrees C for 1-24 hours and drying; and (2) composition of battery comprising cathode sheet, anode sheet, separator and of metal salt of sulfonated graphene solid polymer electrolyte.
