NOVELTY - A thermoelectric device comprises thermoelectric layer (1) comprising one or more thermoelectric modules embedded in a flexible substrate (2) and side (S1) and (S2), and flexible heat sink layer bonded to the side (S1) of the thermoelectric layer or integrally formed with the thermoelectric layer on side (S1) of the thermoelectric layer. USE - Thermoelectric device e.g. wearable Peltier device and wearable thermoelectric generator (claimed) used for energy harvesting from waste heat and/or thermoelectric heating/cooling system. Uses include but are not limited to consumer products, bedding, clothing, hats, seat cushions and personal portable devices. ADVANTAGE - The thermoelectric device has improved efficiency and working time.
