NOVELTY - Recycling of nano-carbon materials in magnesium-based composite materials involves (A) placing the magnesium-based composite material containing nano-carbon materials in a crucible, heating at 650-800degrees Celsius, melting to obtain magnesium alloy melt, (B) mixing and grinding sodium chloride and potassium chloride, drying, adding the mixed metal salt to magnesium alloy melt under mechanical stirring, leaving the mixture still, (C) water-cooling the crucible containing magnesium alloy, nano-carbon material and mixed salt of sodium chloride and potassium chloride, solidifying to obtain an ingot, (D) soaking the ingot in an aqueous solution for 0.5-48 hours to obtain suspension containing nano-carbon materials, filtering the suspension to obtain nano-carbon materials, (E) rinsing and filtering the nano-carbon material in distilled water, washing, drying and filtering to obtain clean nano-carbon material. USE - Recycling of nano-carbon material used in petroleum industries, chemical engineering, ship, metallurgy, mining application, mechanical manufacturing application, power and water conservancy application. ADVANTAGE - The method enables recycling of nano-carbon material in magnesium-based composite material in simple and high-efficient manner with high added value. The method does not weaken the quality of the reinforced component. The cost of the method is very low, the requirement of the related process to the experimental condition is low, it is very suitable for popularization to industrial production, the whole preparation process does not need to use acid solution extraction process, it does not cause damage of the carbon material, it will not cause serious pollution problem to the environment, and does not require large batch of green extraction and utilization in the magnesium melt.
