NOVELTY - Preparing graphene reinforced magnesium matrix composite involves mixing certain size of graphene sheet with pure magnesium particles, under argon atmosphere for certain duration, where 0.1-6 wt.% of the obtained mixture as agate is transferred to the ball mill to obtain powder. The obtained powder is dissolved in an ethanol as solvent to obtain dispersion, which is ultrasonically stirred, accompanied by mechanical stirring. The resulting product is heated to remove the solvent, and then dried in vacuum to obtain graphene/magnesium composite powder particles. USE - Method for preparing graphene reinforced magnesium matrix composite (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene reinforced magnesium matrix composite involves mixing certain size of graphene sheet with pure magnesium particles, under argon atmosphere for certain duration, where 0.1-6 wt.% of the obtained mixture as agate is transferred to the ball mill to obtain powder. The obtained powder is dissolved in an ethanol as solvent to obtain dispersion, which is ultrasonically stirred, accompanied by mechanical stirring. The resulting product is heated to remove the solvent, and then dried in vacuum to obtain graphene/magnesium composite powder particles. The obtained graphene/magnesium composite powder particles are transferred into the extrusion molding die, which then operates at a certain temperature, to obtain a graphene/pure magnesium precursor. The obtained graphene/pure magnesium precursor is preheated into the crucible at a certain temperature to obtain molten material, which is casted into a metal mold, to obtain the finished product.
