NOVELTY - Boron-containing carbon material comprises elemental boron which is doped so as to replace at least a part of an elemental carbon in a carbon skeleton, where the thermal decomposition temperature in an oxygen atmosphere is 700-1000 degrees C and the content of boron element in the carbon material is 0.005-15 mol%. USE - The carbon material is useful in a resin composition used for forming a conductive film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carbon material has excellent oxidation resistance and conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a resin composition containing the carbon material and a resin component.
