NOVELTY - A modified aromatic polyamide reverse osmosis membrane comprises a substrate support layer (1), an intermediate porous support layer (2) and an ultra-thin dense separation layer (3), where a graphene oxide coating layer (4) is provided on a surface of the ultra-thin dense separation layer. USE - Modified aromatic polyamide reverse osmosis membrane. ADVANTAGE - The modified aromatic polyamide reverse osmosis membrane has improved desalination rate, anti-pollution performance, anti-chlorine performance and reduced working pressure as the graphene oxide coating layer is provided on surface of the ultra-thin dense separation layer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a modified aromatic polyamide reverse osmosis membrane.
