NOVELTY - Preparing corrosion resistant coating system involves providing substrate. The substrate is applied on a first layer of tunable material (901) composition, which comprises thermoset plastic (905) and anticorrosive coating of carbon nanotubes and graphene. The tunable material composition is prepared by providing acrificial metal particle, which is selected from magnesium, aluminum, zinc, nickel or cobalt. The carbon nanotubes and graphene are bound chemically to a first molecule, which comprises first group (102), first spacer and second group (104). USE - Method for preparing corrosion resistant coating system (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing corrosion resistant coating system involves providing substrate. The substrate is applied on a first layer of tunable material composition, which comprises thermoset plastic and anticorrosive coating of carbon nanotubes and graphene. The tunable material composition is prepared by providing acrificial metal particle, which is selected from magnesium, aluminum, zinc, nickel or cobalt. The carbon nanotubes and graphene are bound chemically to a first molecule, which comprises first group, first spacer and second group. The first group comprises hydroxyl, thiol, amino, epoxy, carboxyl, and silyl. The carbon nanotubes and graphene are bound chemically to second molecule, which comprises third group, second spacer, and fourth group, where third group (103) is different group from first group. The third group comprises thiol, carboxyl, trialkoxysilyl, phosphoryl ester, crown ether, cryptand, dioxime, and N-heterocycle. The fourth group comprises amino, epoxy, hydroxyl, carboxyl, silyl and thiol. The sacrificial metal particle are bound with first or third group. The first or third group are bound with substrate, where group bound to the substrate is different from the group bound to the sacrificial metal particle. The second group and the fourth group are bound with carbon nanotubes and graphene chemically. The thermoset resin side chains is grown on the carbon nanotubes and graphene.The siloxane side chains is grown on the carbon nanotubes and graphene.
