NOVELTY - A humidity sensitive material comprises titanium dioxide nanoparticles, polymer nanowires and graphene nanocomposite material. USE - Humidity sensitive material for use in resistive humidity sensor that is utilized in detecting humidity in air and sample gas at room temperature and atmospheric pressure (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The humidity sensitive material is economic, and can be prepared in simple manner, and has good stability and sensitivity, unique chemical and physical property and wide application range. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a method for preparing the humidity sensitive material involves polymerizing polymer nanowire and graphene nanocomposite by in situ chemistry polymerization and sol-gel method, and polymerizing the obtained composite with titanium dioxide nanoparticles by sol-gel method (2) a resistive humidity sensor comprising the humidity sensitive material, where the humidity sensitive material is fixed on indium tin oxide (ITO) glass piece (3) a method for preparing the resistive humidity sensor, involves adhering a copper sheet with comb-shaped structure on ITO glass piece, and fixing the humidity sensitive material on a gap of the copper sheet to detect changes in concentration of humidity and test resistance of composite material.
