NOVELTY - A lithium metal anode surface graphene-based protective layer is obtained by attaching a graphene-based composite coating material on surface of lithium metal, and performing in-situ electrochemical reaction. Also claimed is lithium-sulfur battery. USE - Lithium metal anode surface graphene-based protective layer is used for manufacturing lithium-sulfur battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lithium metal anode surface graphene-based protective layer provides lithium-sulfur battery having excellent cycle characteristics and capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of lithium-sulfur battery, which involves overlapping lithium metal or its alloy electrode having graphene-based composite coating on surface, or lithium carbon composite electrode as anode, sulfur-carbon composite electrode as cathode by winding or laminating, arranging a porous polymer membrane between the cathode and anode, adding electrolyte to infiltrate the graphene-based composite coating, and forming the protective layer on surface of the anode.
