▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A superhydrophobic silicon oxide-hybrid graphene aerogel micropowder comprises silicon oxide nanoparticles and a continuous three-dimensional porous network structure comprising a graphene sheet layer. The three-dimensional porous network structure includes micropores, mesopores, and macropores. The nanoparticles are at least uniformly distributed on both side surfaces of the graphene sheet layer. USE - Superhydrophobic silicon oxide-hybrid graphene aerogel micropowder is used in battery, supercapacitor, thermal insulation, adsorption and sensing applications and encapsulation of non-adhesive droplets e.g. water droplets, water-based magnetic fluid droplets and water-based dye droplets, for preparing liquid beads (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The superhydrophobic silicon oxide-hybrid graphene aerogel micropowder has small size, low density, and excellent hydrophobicity and chemical stability, and can be prepared by simple process under mild and controllable reaction condition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the micropowder, which involves providing a bulk graphene hydrogel, crushing the graphene hydrogel, dispersing in ethanol, mixing the resultant gel particles with a silicon source, adding a base catalyst for catalytic hydrolysis, leaving still, obtaining hybridized silicon oxide-graphene gel particles, performing displacement treatment with a non-polar organic solvent, modifying with a hydrophobizing agent, and drying.
