NOVELTY - Production of biodiesel involves adding lipid, lower alcohol and sulfonated graphene in mass ratio of 1:0.1-2:0.05-0.2 to three-necked flask, heating, refluxing for 3-15 hours, filtering, separating catalyst from reaction mixture, subjecting filtrate to liquid separation, separating lower glycerol layer, adding 5-10 %mass sodium bicarbonate to upper layer, washing, drying using magnesium sulfate for 4-10 hours and evaporating at reduced pressure. The lipid is vegetable oil, animal fat or waste oil. The lower alcohol is chosen from methanol, ethanol, propanol and butanol. USE - Production of biodiesel (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables production of biodiesel with high yield, within short period of time, by environmentally-friendly process.
