▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Solar assisted de-fluoridation system (100), comprises: a solar energy unit (102) for storing solar energy, comprising a solar panel, a direct current (DC) motor, a battery and an inverter; a stirring assembly (104) comprises a first container of capacity of at least 80 l, a magnetic stirrer rod adhered at one end to the DC motor and the longitudinal section of the magnetic stirrer rod is positioned centrally in container cavity where the other end is free to rotate, and an adsorbent unit comprising a permeable sack structure containing an adsorbent composition for de-fluoridation; and a filtering unit connected parallel to the first container of the stirring assembly, the filtering unit (106) comprising a second container for collecting fluoride free water, a water filter and an ion meter. USE - The system is useful for water de-fluoridation (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The system is eco-friendly and easy to deploy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for de-fluoridation based on system comprising (a) taking at least 80 l water in a container, (b) checking fluoride content of the water, (c) maintaining a pH of the water, (d) immersing an adsorbent composition for de-fluoridation in the water, in the capacity of 20 g/l at 60-80 degrees C for contact time of at least 60 minutes where the water is stirred continuously, (e) filtering the water, and (f) checking fluoride content in the filtrate by an ion meter.
