NOVELTY - Polydopamine nanosphere/boron nitride quantum dot/graphene solid lubricant comprises 1-10 pts. wt. boron nitride quantum dots and 10 pts. wt. polydopamine nanospheres/graphene oxide composite particles. USE - The lubricant is useful for lubricating mechanical parts (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The solid lubricant reduces and stabilize the friction coefficient of the base material and improve the wear resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) Preparing the solid lubricant, comprising mixing the ethanol, de-ionized water and aqueous ammonia, stirring uniformly to obtain the mixed solution, dissolving the dopamine hydrochloride into the de-ionized water and dropping into the mixed solution, orderly stirring, centrifuging and water washing, drying to obtain the poly-dopamine nano-ball, mixing the poly-dopamine nano ball and graphene oxide and stirring uniformly, adding hydrazine hydrate for condensing and refluxing to obtain the product system of poly-dopamine nano ball/graphene oxide composite particle, after cooling the product system of the poly-dopamine nano ball/grapheneoxide composite particle, washing the product system and freezing and drying to obtain the poly-dopamine nano ball/graphene oxide composite particle, adding boric acid in the ion water, adding aqueous ammonia and stirring uniformly by magnetic force, placing into the reaction kettle for cooling to obtain boron nitride quantum dot, the boron nitride quantum dot and poly-dopamine nano ball/graphene oxide composite particle by magnetic stirring after freezing and drying. (2) Polydopamine nanosphere/boron nitride quantum dot/graphene-based composite material, comprising 0.1-100 pts. wt. polydopamine nanosphere/boron nitride quantum dot/graphene solid lubricant and 40-1000 pts. wt. matrix.
