NOVELTY - Flame-retardant reinforced epoxy resin comprises 85-95 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 5-10 pts. wt. modified carbon nano-tube and 3-10 pts. wt. curing agent. USE - The flame-retardant reinforced epoxy resin is useful for preparing polymer nano-composite material, namely montmorillonite, double hydroxide graphene. ADVANTAGE - The flame-retardant reinforced epoxy resin: has excellent flame retardant and mechanical strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the flame-retardant reinforced epoxy resin, comprising (i) adding modified carbon nano-tube into acetone, ultrasonically processing for 30 minutes, uniformly dispersing modified carbon nano-tube; (ii) adding the modified carbon nano-tube suspension into the epoxy resin pre-heated to 60℃, then ultrasonically dispersing for 30 minutes, mechanically stirring for 2 hours, vacuum extracting and extracting solvent acetone; and (iii) adding curing agent, stirring and mixing to uniform solution, pouring the mixed uniform solution into the preheated mold, curing for 2 hours at 120℃, then curing for 2 hours at 155℃, after curing, naturally cooling to room temperature and demolding to obtain the corresponding flame-retardant reinforced epoxy resin.
