NOVELTY - Electromagnetic protective effect nickel-plated graphite coating, comprises 25-50 wt.% nickel-plated graphite powder, 0.5-10 wt.% carbon black, 0.2-7 wt.% dispersant, 10-40 wt.% alcohol, 10-50 wt.% resin and 10-40 wt.% thickening agent. USE - Used as electromagnetic protective effect nickel-plated graphite coating. ADVANTAGE - The electromagnetic protective effect nickel-plated graphite coating: has low cost compared with the electromagnetic protective functional coatings prepared by using metal powders including silver powder, silver-plated copper powder and nickel powder as conductive fillers; has excellent conductivity and easy dispersion compared with electromagnetic protective functional coatings prepared with carbon-based powders including graphite, carbon black, carbon fiber, carbon nanotubes and graphene as conductive fillers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of electromagnetic protective effect nickel-plated graphite coating, comprising (1) mixing 25-50 wt.% nickel-plated graphite powder, 0.5-10 wt.% carbon black, 0.2-7 wt.% dispersant, 10-40 wt.% alcohol and 10-50 wt.% resin to obtain reaction mixture, (2) pouring the reaction mixture into a ball milling tank of the ball mill and stirring and dispersing to obtain uniform mixed liquid, and (3) pouring the uniform mixed liquid into a dispersing container of high-speed dispersing machine and adding 10- 40 wt.% thickening agent of the total mass to mix and dispersing to obtain final product, where the thickening agent comprises 60-80 wt.% distilled water,1-10 wt.% polyolamine or triethanolamine and 15-35 wt.% polyurethane thickening agent or acrylic copolymer emulsion.
