NOVELTY - Contact material comprises 0.1-10\ graphene, and rest is copper and chromium, where mass ratio of copper and chromium is (50-75):(25-50). USE - Contact material used in vacuum arc extinguish chamber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The contact material increases hardness by 5-50% and thermal conductivity by 10-60%, and reduces cut-off by 10-50%, and has high hardness and thermal conductivity and low cutoff value. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing contact material, which involves: (A) taking and mixing graphene powder, copper powder and chromium powder in proper amount, and pressing and forming in mold; and (B) carrying out sintering of obtained molded material in vacuum condition or under protected atmosphere to obtain final product.
