NOVELTY - High temperature resistant resin comprises basic resin, modified high temperature resistant resin, filler, silane coupling agent, curing agent and auxiliary agent. The preparation of modified high temperature resistant resin comprises (a) adding pentaerythritol, 2-methylene-1,3-dioxocyclopentene, p-chloromethyl styrene and dimethylformamide into the reaction flask and bubbling with nitrogen for 30 minutes, heating, adding cerium ammonium nitrate solution in a drop wise manner under a nitrogen atmosphere, carrying out reaction for 2 hours and cooling to room temperature and removing nitrogen source, (b) dissolving triethylamine and glycidyl ether in dimethylformamide respectively, adding triethylamine solution to the reaction flask of (a) at -5degreesC and stirring for 20 minutes, adding glycidyl ether solution in a drop wise manner, stirring , removing triethylamine salt and vacuum drying to obtain epoxy unsaturated polyester, i.e. high temperature resistant resin. USE - The high temperature resistant resin is useful for double-layer oil storage tank. ADVANTAGE - The resin has stable coating with good high temperature resistance, high and dense crosslinking density and good acid and alkali resistance.
