NOVELTY - The preparation of water-retaining mask base cloth involves mixing leaf vein powder and ferric chloride solution, soaking according to mass ratio of (1:10)-(1:20), filtering to obtain pretreated leaf vein powder, mixing graphene oxide and polyvinyl alcohol liquid in mass ratio of (1:5)-(1:10), adding aqueous ammonia to adjust pH to 9.6-9.9 to obtain pretreatment mixture, mixing pretreated leaf vein powder and pretreatment mixture solution in mass ratio of (1:10)-(1:20), filtering, washing, drying, introducing inert gas, heating the mixture at room temperature to obtain modified additive, mixing 40-60 pts. wt. chitosan liquid, 10-20 pts. wt. modified additive, 10-20 pts. wt. carbon nanotubes, 3-5 pts. wt. dopamine solution, and 10-20 pts. wt. protein fiber, stirring to obtain film forming solution, mixing calcium nitrate solution and film forming solution in mass ratio of (1:20)-(1:30), vacuum defoaming, casting into a film, and scraping film with scraper. USE - Preparation of water-retaining mask base cloth. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of water-retaining mask base cloth with excellent liquid absorption and water retention performance, and avoids the loss of essence and water.
