NOVELTY - Preparing cerium dioxide graphene nanocomposite, comprises (1) ultrasonically dispersing graphite oxide in water to form a mixed solution, (2) adding cerium nitrate and an additive in dimethylformamide as a solvent and mixing uniformly at room temperature, (3) adding the obtained mixed solution in step (1) into an water bath, and stirring and refluxing, and then slowly adding the obtained mixture in step (2) under heating condition, and (4) adding hydrazine hydrate to the mixture to obtain precipitate and drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing cerium dioxide graphene nanocomposite (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method simply and economically prepares cerium dioxide graphene nanocomposite with high dispersibility.
