NOVELTY - Method for manufacturing graphene, involves weighing metal catalyst and halohydrocarbon in the molar ratio of 0.1-1:10:1, adding obtained mixture in reaction kettle, uniformly stirring the mixture at 460-520 degrees C for 0.1-4 hours, washing the obtained product using organic solvent and dilute acid solution to remove the soluble residue, cleaning the obtained product using deionized water until the filtrate is neutral and drying the filtrate to obtain graphene. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing graphene used in lithium battery and capacitor. ADVANTAGE - The method manufactures the graphene simply in large amounts.
