NOVELTY - A graphene oxide/cobaltosic oxide composite material comprises cobaltosic oxide and graphene oxide layer compounded on the surface of cobaltosic oxide by coating and attachment. The cobaltosic oxide includes spherical and/or cubic cobaltosic oxide. USE - The graphene oxide/cobaltosic oxide composite material is useful for wave-absorbing material (claimed) in electromagnetic wave-absorption application. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide/cobaltosic oxide composite material: has excellent wave-absorbing performance and controllability, improved dispersibility of graphene oxide, and reduced agglomeration of graphene oxide, and can be prepared by a simple, easy and econoimcal method industrially. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the graphene oxide/cobaltosic oxide composite material, which involves (A) mixing cobalt salt aqueous solution with an organic ligand to obtain a mixed solution, (B) mixing the obtained mixed solution and graphene oxide aqueous solution to obtain a solid intermediate product, and (C) irradiating the solid intermediate product by using microwaves.
