NOVELTY - Lithium ion battery silicon anode binder comprises polyvinylidene fluoride and polyvinyl alcohol with mass ratio of 10-1:1-10. USE - Lithium ion battery silicon anode binder for lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The lithium ion battery silicon anode binder improves electrode integral adhesive force on basis of effectively inhibiting irreversible lithium consumption of the electrode. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a lithium ion battery silicon negative electrode, which comprises lithium ion battery silicon negative electrode binder; and (2) a method for preparing lithium ion battery silicon anode, which involves dissolving polyvinylidene fluoride and polyvinyl alcohol in solvent and mixing uniformly to obtain binder solution, adding silicon and conductive agent to binder solution and dispersing to obtain electrode slurry, mass ratio of the silicon, conductive agent and binder is 7-9:1-2:1-2, coating the electrode slurry on copper current collector, pressing, slitting and drying after drying to obtain silicon negative electrode of lithium ion battery.
