NOVELTY - A methanol catalytic catalyst comprises graphene, a polyacrylic acid-ferrocenyl compound and metal nano particles;, where the mass ratio of graphene, polyacrylic acid-ferrocenyl compound and metal nano particle is (20-50):(150-250):(1-15). USE - As a methanol catalytic catalyst used in chemically modified electrode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The methanol catalytic catalyst provides higher catalytic activity, and has higher anti-poisoning intermediate ability to target pore size production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparing methanol catalytic catalyst involves providing graphene oxide dispersion liquid, mixing poly acrylic acid and ferrocene to obtain poly acrylic acid-ferrocenyl compound; mixing graphene oxide dispersion liquid, polyacrylic acid-ferrocenyl compound and a metal nanoparticle precursor mixture, to obtain mixed solution, adding a reducing agent to the mixed solution, carrying out reduction reaction to obtain the methanol catalytic catalyst; and (2) a chemically modified electrode, comprising a substrate and a substrate electrode surface modification layer, and the decoration layer, where the decoration layer is methanol catalytic catalyst.
