NOVELTY - Graphene oxide-containing aqueous-based cutting fluid comprises 0.5-5 wt.% lubricating additive, 30-40 wt.% rust inhibitor, 0.4-0.6 wt.% defoamer, 0.2-0.4 wt.% benzotriazole, 2-4.5 wt.% cleaning agent and 1-2 wt.% ethanolamine, where lubricating additive is oxidized graphene dispersion including 0.1-0.4 wt.% graphene oxide, 2-4 wt.% polyvinylpyrrolidone and water, and total weight of the components is 100%. USE - Used as graphene oxide-containing aqueous-based cutting fluid. ADVANTAGE - The fluid is environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation of graphene oxide-containing aqueous-based cutting fluid comprising (i) mixing rust inhibitor, cleaning agent, benzotriazole, defoaming agent, ethanolamine and water to obtain mixed solution, and (ii) adding prepared oxidized graphene dispersion liquid into mixture obtained in step (i) dropwise and ultrasonic mixing to obtain final product.
