▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - An integral three-dimensional graphene-carbon hybrid foam comprises multiple pores and pore walls in which pore walls contain single-layer graphene sheets chemically bonded by carbon material having carbon material-to-graphene weight ratio of 1:200-1:2, graphene sheets have 2-10 layers of stacked graphene planes having inter-plane spacing d002 of 0.3354-0.40 nm and single-layer graphene sheets contain pristine graphene material having 0 wt.% non-carbon elements, or non-pristine graphene material having 0.001-25 wt.% non-carbon elements. USE - An integral three-dimensional graphene-carbon hybrid foam for oil-removing or oil-separating device, solvent-removing or solvent-separating device and thermal management device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - Hybrid foam is mechanically robust, can be produced at low cost and does not use harmful chemicals. Hybrid foam has thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, elastic modulus and/or strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An integral three-dimensional graphene-carbon hybrid foam comprises multiple pores and pore walls in which pore walls contain single-layer graphene sheets chemically bonded by carbon material having carbon material-to-graphene weight ratio of 1:200-1:2, graphene sheets have 2-10 layers of stacked graphene planes having inter-plane spacing d002 of 0.3354-0.40 nm as measured by X-ray diffraction and single-layer graphene sheets contain pristine graphene material having 0 wt.% non-carbon elements, or non-pristine graphene material having 0.001-25 wt.% non-carbon elements in which non-pristine graphene is chosen from graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide, graphene fluoride, graphene chloride, graphene bromide, graphene iodide, hydrogenated graphene, nitrogenated graphene, doped graphene, chemically functionalized graphene, or combination. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) oil-removing or oil-separating device comprising three-dimensional graphene-carbon hybrid foam as oil-absorbing element; (2) solvent-removing or solvent-separating device comprising three-dimensional graphene-carbon hybrid foam; (3) separation of oil from water which involves providing oil-absorbing element, contacting oil-water mixture with element, retreating element from mixture and extracting oil from element and reusing element; (4) separation of organic solvent from solvent-water mixture or from multiple-solvent mixture which involves providing organic solvent-absorbing or solvent-separating element, bridging element in contact with organic solvent-water mixture or multiple-solvent mixture containing 1st solvent and 2nd solvent, allowing element to absorb organic solvent from mixture or separate 1st solvent from 2nd solvent, retreating element from mixture and extracting organic solvent or 1st solvent from element and reusing element; and (5) thermal management device comprising three-dimensional integral graphene-carbon hybrid foam as heat spreading or heat dissipating element.
