▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The device (100) has a set of sensors (102) for sensing pressure on a median nerve around a pre-determined wrist area and generating a set of signals. A processing unit (104) is operatively coupled to the set of sensors, and includes a memory. A processor extracts digital readings of the sensed nerve from the first set of signals and compares the extracted digital readings pertaining to pressure on the median nerve with a database. The database stores pre-identified pressure limits for the median nerve. The processor transmits a set of alert signals upon identification of the exceeded pressure limits from the compared digital readings and transmits the set of alert signals to mobile computing devices through a communication module (106). The mobile computing devices are in communication with the processor such that the set of alert signals facilitate in alerting an entity for compressed median nerve and enables in monitoring numbness and weakness in wrist. USE - Device for monitoring compressed median nerve in a pre-determined wrist area such as carpel bone, transverse carpal ligament, and tendon (all claimed) of wrist of a patient during working on a laptop. ADVANTAGE - The device alerts a patient and determines pressure exerted on wrist or hand while working for long hours on laptop and similar system and helps in avoiding carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) as the processor facilitates in monitoring movement and activity of the wrist for a pre-determined position of wrist to avoid compression of the median nerve. The sensor is stuck to skin with bandage and monitored on mobile application while working on the laptop or similar device to monitor numbness and weakness in wrist. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The set of sensors includes a combination of graphene pressure sensor, and biosensor. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a block diagram of a device for monitoring compressed median nerve in a pre-determined wrist area. 100Device for monitoring compressed median nerve in pre-determined wrist area 102Sensors 104Processing unit 106Communication module
