NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide-based self-repairing flame-retardant complex film comprises (i) mixing graphene oxide, solvent and reducing agent and performing partial reduction to obtain modified graphene oxide, (ii) mixing the modified graphene oxide with a conductive material, and forming a film to obtain a graphene oxide-based complex film, and (iii) coating the surface of the graphene oxide-based complex film with a self-repairing flame-retardant polymer to obtain a graphene oxide-based self-repairing flame-retardant complex film. USE - The complex film is useful in a fire-alarm. ADVANTAGE - The method: solves the problems of long response time, short service life and poor weather resistance of current fire-alarms.
